Who We Are

The formation of the Gatsby Showcase Foundation was inspired by our inaugural Gatsby Showcase Gala in 2021 when a crucial need to create change and respond to systemic barriers was identified. In addition to the fashion experience of the Gatsby Showcase, there was a missed opportunity tap into an affluent demographic in attendance to generate awareness, create interest, and build engagement in the pressing needs of our most vulnerable populations. And so, Gatsby Showcase foundation was born! In 2022, The Gatsby Showcase Foundation will present The Laura Fote Award for the first time. Laura Fote Award recognizes, honors and celebrates emerging entrepreneurs who have demonstrated outstanding vision, leadership and inspiration in spite of challenges and barriers to make a significant social impact and/or become successful in their businesses.

We are Impactful. The Gatsby Showcase foundation’s solutions are bold, collaborative, and intentional. We seek and create solutions anchored in social justice that provide accessible financial products and services to communities of color, women, and other historically disadvantaged groups.
