One of the key ways the Gatsby Showcase Foundation is addressing healthcare access is through mentorship for aspiring physicians, especially from historically marginalized communities. Co-founder Dr. Bertrand Fote, with over two decades of experience in emergency medicine, has been dedicated to guiding the next generation of medical professionals. Through one-on-one mentorship and career advice, he helps aspiring physicians navigate the complexities of medical school, residency, and the healthcare industry at large.

This initiative is particularly focused on empowering those who may not have the resources or networks to succeed in the medical field. By offering guidance, educational support, and networking opportunities, we aim to increase the representation of minority and underserved groups in healthcare, ultimately improving access to care for those who need it most.
