2023 Teachers Fest

Our Work in Education

The Gatsby Showcase Foundation is deeply committed to empowering historically marginalized communities through education, recognizing it as a vital pathway to economic independence and social equity. To create lasting impact, we have forged partnerships with organizations that share our vision of fostering academic excellence and inclusivity.

Scholarships and Mentorship at Bell’s Multicultural Institute

We are proud to provide scholarships to students at Bell’s Multicultural Institute, a transformative educational environment that celebrates diversity and supports academic success among underrepresented groups. The Institute serves a vibrant community of students from various backgrounds, offering culturally relevant curricula and comprehensive support systems. In addition to financial aid, we also offer mentorship programs to guide students on their educational and career journeys, helping them navigate challenges and seize opportunities. Our commitment extends to donating essential equipment, ensuring students have the resources they need to thrive. This initiative reflects our broader mission to uplift marginalized communities through education, equipping students with the tools for long-term success and economic independence.

Supporting Global Educational Initiatives

Our dedication to education spans across the globe. We provide grants and scholarships to historically marginalized students in Kenya and Cameroon, supporting their academic endeavors and fostering opportunities for personal and professional growth. These scholarships help students overcome financial barriers and pursue their dreams of higher education.

Sponsorship of the Teachers’ Festival

As an annual sponsor of the Teachers’ Festival, a nonprofit organization that celebrates and honors educators worldwide, The Gatsby Showcase Foundation is committed to recognizing the vital role teachers play in shaping the future. The festival uplifts current educators, education students, and retired teachers, promoting a global culture of appreciation for the profession.

Supporting the Sitar Arts Center

Through fiscal sponsorships, we support the Sitar Arts Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing arts education and career training to youth in Washington, DC. The Center engages young people from early childhood to adulthood, creating a creative community that removes financial and cultural barriers to arts education, enabling them to pursue their artistic and career aspirations.

The Gatsby Showcase Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to transform lives through education, mentorship, and support, ensuring that historically marginalized communities have the resources, opportunities, and support they need to succeed.
