Making a Difference in the Lives of Young Women Through STEM Mentorship

Young Enterprising Women Mentoring Forum in Nashville, Tennessee, on March 7–8, 2025
In addition to our sponsorship, Laura Fote, co-founder of The Gatsby Showcase Foundation and CEO of L&B Concepts, served as a mentor during the event. Laura shared her journey as a global entrepreneur and humanitarian, offering invaluable guidance to young women preparing to break barriers and pursue leadership in STEM and business. The Young Enterprising Women Foundation organizes mentoring events across the United States, designed to connect high school girls who are passionate about STEM with accomplished women entrepreneurs and leaders in their local communities. These powerful gatherings inspire students to dream big while also equipping them with practical insights and guidance on how to transform their ambitions into reality.
Each mentoring event opens doors for selected young women to pursue greater opportunities, including scholarships to attend the prestigious Enterprising Women of the Year Awards Celebration & Conference. This pipeline of mentorship, leadership, and opportunity directly aligns with our mission at The Gatsby Showcase Foundation—empowering historically marginalized groups to achieve economic independence through education, business development tools, and a supportive network.
By helping these young women attend the Nashville forum and by having our very own Laura Fote mentor future leaders we affirmed our commitment to education, mentorship, and creating pathways for future innovators. We believe that when young women are given access to mentorship and resources, they not only achieve their dreams but also help shape more inclusive, equitable communities.
