Raymone K. Bain, referred to as the “Keeper of the Famed” by The Washington Post, is a highly regarded public relations, media, and management strategist, known for her work with numerous high-profile clients in the entertainment, sports, and political arenas. As the Founder and Chairman of the Raymone K. Bain Companies, LLC, she has broken many barriers as an African-American woman in fields traditionally dominated by men and continues to influence the realms of entertainment, sports, and politics.
Among her numerous accolades, she is a recipient of both the 2023 and 2016 President’s Lifetime Achievement Awards, presented by Presidents Joseph R. Biden Jr. and Barack Obama, respectively. In 2024, Bain was named the DC Star for exemplary leadership as a celebrity publicist by the District of Columbia Government’s Office of Cable Television, Film, Music, and Entertainment. Additionally, she has been honored by Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation and recognized as a Women’s Empowerment Honoree by the Country of Sint Maarten.
Bain’s diverse career spans over 30 years, where she made history as one of the first women in the U.S. to own a sports management firm and the first African-American woman to represent boxing champions such as Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson. She also served as the first publicist for Serena Williams, representing the Williams family for seven years.
Her significant contributions extend beyond entertainment and sports. Bain began her political career as one of ten in President Jimmy Carter’s campaign while still a student at Spelman College. She later served in both the Carter and Reagan administrations, handling public affairs for the White House Office of Management and Budget. Notably, she helped establish National Black Music Month by encouraging President Carter to recognize the contributions of African-American artists.
Bain is also recognized for her philanthropy, providing pro bono services to numerous individuals and organizations. She has been involved in initiatives such as the creation of The Little Blue House, a transitional home for abandoned babies, and continues her support for under-resourced communities through her involvement with the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center in Washington, D.C.
As Michael Jackson’s spokesperson and general manager, Bain held several key positions, including President/COO of The Michael Jackson Company. She was appointed by Jackson to serve as Trustee of his publishing empire and played a pivotal role in managing his music licensing and refinancing a $360 million loan to preserve his publishing assets.

Dr. Cheryl Polote-Williamson is a trailblazing global media executive, transformational speaker, and multi-bestselling author renowned for her visionary leadership and profound impact across industries. As an award-winning filmmaker, Dr. Cheryl earned an Executive Producer credit and an HBO Max award for the acclaimed documentary “Twenty Pearls: The Story of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.” She also contributed to the powerful film “The Invitation,” chronicling the history of The Links, Incorporated.
Dr. Cheryl’s influence continues to expand within the literary world. She recently signed her first book deal with Penguin Random House through Store House Publishing. As a trusted voice on critical platforms, Dr. Cheryl participated in a panel with Michelle Obama to discuss “The Light We Carry,” further solidifying her role as a thought leader. Earlier this year, she was honored by the U.S. Chamber for her outstanding contributions to business and media.
Her global impact extends far beyond the United States. As the Global Ambassador for She Empowerment Global, Dr. Cheryl is set to represent the organization on a speaking trip to Ghana, continuing her mission to empower women worldwide.
A seasoned speaker, Dr. Cheryl has captivated audiences at prestigious events, including the Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit, Hallmark Mahogany Summit, The Potters House, and the National Action Network. She has also led transformative workshops for top brands like New York Life, WBENC, Target, and Sylvan Learning Center.
Throughout her career, Dr. Cheryl has earned numerous accolades, including being named one of Dallas’s Top 25 Women, receiving the Indie Author Legacy Award in both 2017 and 2018, and winning multiple African American Literary Awards. Her leadership and literary excellence continue to be celebrated internationally.
A prolific writer, Dr. Cheryl has authored 19 bestselling books, including The Art of Influence and Affirmed: 365 Positive Thoughts & Actions to Start Your Day. As the Editor-in-Chief of Cheryl Magazine, she curates a 120-page publication that serves as a love letter to Black women, inspiring them to embrace their power and purpose.
Through her companies, Williamson Media Group, LLC, and Cheryl Polote-Williamson, LLC, and as the founder of the nonprofit Soul Reborn, Dr. Cheryl is committed to empowering individuals and making a lasting positive impact. Her work stands as a testament to her relentless pursuit of excellence and her ability to inspire others to live their truth, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encounters.
