The Gatsby Showcase Foundation Sponsors Scholarships for 44 Students at St. Joseph’s College Sasse​

The Gatsby Showcase Foundation, led by founders Dr. Bertrand Fote and Lady Laura Fote, is proud to announce its sponsorship of scholarships for 44 students at St. Joseph’s College (SJC) Sasse, located in Cameroon, West Africa, during this year’s SOBA America Day. This initiative is a testament to the foundation’s commitment to empowering historically marginalized groups through education, business development tools, and a supportive network.

The scholarship awards ceremony, held on October 9, 2024, recognized students who have demonstrated academic excellence, good moral character, and financial need. This generous support will provide much-needed resources to students, enabling them to pursue their educational goals and make a significant impact in their communities.

SOBA America Day is an annual celebration organized by the SOBA America Alumni Association, honoring the students and staff of SJC Sasse. The event emphasizes the core values of SOBA America, featuring scholarship awards, mentorship sessions, and special meals for the students. This day is an opportunity for alumni to give back to the school that has shaped their lives and foster the next generation of leaders.
